About the Project
The Crescent City Connection (CCC), formerly the Greater New Orleans Bridge (GNO), refers to twin cantilever bridges that carry U.S. Highway 90 Business (US 90 Bus.) over the Mississippi River in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. It is the farthest downstream bridge on the Mississippi River.
The project included the containment, abrasive blasting and painting of the bridge No.2 floor system and spot repair and painting of the upper truss metal work.
KGC Performed:
- TSP-lead high volume ambient air monitoring
- Hazardous waste and waste water oversight
- Reviewed contractor environmental, health and safety submittals for conformance with the project specification.
